Peppa or Beppa (from the Italian nickname for the queen of spades in the game) is a card game, known abroad as Chat Noir (in France) and Hearts (in the USA), where it is also very commonly played as a computer version. It is played with a French deck of 52 cards with four people each playing for themselves (although during the game you can form “alliances” depending on how the scoring is going). The aim of the game is not to get the Peppa (or Queen of Spades) and any hearts.
